Rutgers Center for Tobacco Studies - Tobacco Dependence Program in collaboration with the Division of Addiction Psychiatry - Robert Wood Johnson and co provided with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care presents the Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training.
The Tobacco Dependence Program has been training Tobacco Dependence Treatment Specialists since 2000. This intensive curriculum prepares health care professionals to become tobacco dependence treatment specialists. Our training program is fully accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs. After full completion of this training, participants will receive documentation of training completion and will be eligible to apply for National Certification; participants are not yet Certified.This curriculum is offered multiple times per year, typically in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
