| In a study from Bombay, India, chewing tobacco use was responsible for 47% of all |
| oral cancers, and the risk is increased six-fold compared to nonusers. In addition, the |
| rate of stillbirths was tripled in tobacco users, and birth weights were decreased by an |
| average of 4 to 8 ounces. |
